  Types of Malware   There are eight types of malware, Malware ( Short of Malicious Software) is a malicious program or file that is intentionally harmfull to a Copmuter (or server). Here are 8 different types of malware and their intent.    1.  VIRUSES     A Computer virus is a type of malicious software, or malware, that spreads between computers and causes damage to data and software. 2.  WORMS     A computer worm is a type of malware which self-replicates and infectsother computers. 3.  TROJANS     A Trojan is any malware that misleads users of its true intent.
